Haha. i went to the ice house [finally] with my friends the other day. and well that was my first time ice skating. i cant really do a awesome job at it and i have to be near the wall just in case if i fall.

How do you ice skate.?
Ice house? Ohmigoshh! It sounds like a word from an american girl moviee! How cute!

Sorry, I had to say that =]
Reply:I don't know of anyone who just gets on ice and skates like they were born with blades on their feet. Sticking to wall is fine at first. I did and I use it if I'm trying to learn something new until I get confident with new move. Keep your knees bent and take it steady to start with. Can any of your friends skate or are you all beginners too? If there's ice marshals around you could ask them for some help but just don't be a nuisance.
Reply:Hi teenager! No one can be a great skater the first time out. First of all, those rental skates are so not the greatest for learning how to skate. The better the skates, the better it is to learn. If you want to skate once in awhile, then I suggest not to invest in skates. A good boot and blades can cost around $500.00. Skating takes practice to get good! Don't feel bad. If you are really serious, call for lessons!
Reply:lol u cant just hop on the ice for the first time and expect to turn out pro ... lol

its not as easy as it looks ... and hire skates dnt help much either ... the blades are terrible!!
