Is it okay to ice skate with a healing knee?

8 months ago I had a slight tear on my PCL knee ligament and it is current 80% healed. From what I heard, having 80% of the injury healed, it is OKAY to free skate. I feel no pain at all, just my knee is a bit wobbly. If i put on a knee brace, would it be okay to ice skate?

if it is a major injury then u shouldn't but if it is a minor 1 then yes u can.
Reply:wait until it is totally healed

wobbly means still weak and easy to re-injure
Reply:I would wait until next year. I fracture my patella last winter, could not work for 4 months. My last therapy session they measured 80% strength. I work for about 5 months, but could still feel some effects, my knee was numb, felt heavier, occasionally felt a dull pain. One day I was kneeling, went to get up, and felt it tear along with the greatest pain I ever felt in my life.

It takes athletes over a year to heal from knee injuries, and they have around the clock therapy available.
