Clubbing or Ice-Skating?

PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE

I am due to go clubbing with a group of friends this w/e. I don't get the opportunity to go out with them much anymore as my nasty ex-b/f is usually there. So I'm looking forward to going out, letting my hair down and seeing them all.

However, I will have to travel 3 hrs to get there / back, and will be taking ecstacy if I go. I'm concerned that if I go, I will end up having my come down on xmas day, when I'm with my family, which I don't feel is right. That I would be grumpy around them.

I have another option to stay home and go ice-skating with some other friends.

The club is an amazing place, the best DJ in the world, and I miss clubbing with my friends so so much. I'm also worried that I'll start crying cos I miss the way things were last xmas (i.e. always with my friends/ no exbf issues).

Should I take the opportunity to be with my friends while I can and deal with the consequences? Or take the safe option and be in good state on xmas day?

Clubbing or Ice-Skating?
Heyahh

Ermm i think you should just follow your heart / personal opinion!

Hope I Helped

Merry Christmas =]=]=]
Reply:I think you should take the safer option of staying home. 3 hours is a long ride especially to be drinking and getting high.
Reply:If you are going out this weekend how will that make it that you are coming down on christmas Day - its not until tuesday. DJ can't be that good or you wouldn't have to fill yourself with Es. You have a choice, how lucky are you? Ice skating sounds like more fun to me - after all friends that you don't see because of an ex-boyfriend are not realy that close friends at all.
Reply:I think you should take the safe option and go ice-skating. Besides, one thing you should consider, is that you mention that you are going to take escstacy, and I don't know that much about it, but some drugs can amplify the feelings you have about one thing or another - either good or bad. So, I am thinking that it is possible that you may end up having a very negative effect because of your ex bf being there. (I also should add that I do not condone use of illegal drugs, but I do understand the situation you describe.) Anyway, keep that in mind before you decide because I would hate to think of what could happen if you DO get some kind of adverse re-action because he is there.

Well, whatever you decide to do, please be careful, and think things through before you make any final decisions.

Have fun...
Reply:I would choose Ice skating you can have hours of fun.
Reply:Go ice skating. Meet up with your friends after Christmas, or go and meet them in the daytime and have a spot of lunch.

I'm all up for people going out on the piss, but do you really want to ruin your, and your family's Christmas day?
Reply:Go clubbing but stick with water, imo.
Reply:This is such a hard one, it sounds really similar to where I am at right now in my life only...

It is not an ex-boyfriend but a guy who used to be my friend!!!

I absolutely love clubbing and getting wasted even though it has been about a year, I hate the comedown!!!

Is there any way you could arrange to go out with your friends in between Xmas and new year that way you get to see your family without the effects of the night out and get totally crazy with your friends too?

I know what you mean I feel that if I have a night out I will remember how good it is and want to do it all the time again.

I have been clubbing for 14 years and think it has changed a lot recently, people taking too much drugs and not educating themselves on what to do if something goes wrong!!

I think you should go with your gut instinct

What ever you do be careful and have a

FANFU**INGTASTC TIME MAN....... ;0)
Reply:I'm not judging, but can't you just go clubbing and not take the ecstasy - praps I'm just old and do things by the book but what I'm saying is not out of judgement, but worry. Go clubbing, have a good time, a few drinks, and get over your hangover next day so you feel good for Xmas. Ice skating is fun though, I used to go myself so that could be a good, if a little less crazy, night out.

Up to you of course, but that's my advice...

And don't worry if you get a bit emotional whatever you decide to do, Christmas always does that to me too, as much as I love it, I'm always reminiscing about years gone by and some much happier times, it goes with this time of year.

Have fun and be careful.
Reply:if i were you id stick to the ice skating, christmas is time for the family after all maybe try to arrange to go clubbing at new year sometime x
Reply:Clubbing - if you can go and afford it make the most of it. Have fun
