Ice Skating Lessons?

I want to get ice skating lessons, I'm 19 n dont want to go to a class full of children. I there newhere in the glasgow area that does this or even private tuition?

Ice Skating Lessons?
i recommend asking for lessons from a skater. most are willing to help and it wont cost as much as private coaches and you wont have to be in a group of kids!! also most learn to skate programs offer adult lessons and the adults are only in groups with other adults so you would be stuck with little kids either!! good luck!!

id offer it to you but i have no idea where glasgow is!! haha so it must not be near me!!
Reply:you can try kendall ice arena or Pines ice arena. pines ice arena has classes for all different ages , but its a little pricey.

its $223.95 total (49.95 for optional 3 week classes, $25.00 registration fee, and $149.00 for 8 weeks of classes) You can visit :

http://www.kendallicearena.com .

Kendall ice arena has 8 30 min. classes for $110.00, 8 free practices or public sessions, testing, and special events.

You can visit: http://www.pinesicearena.com
Reply:Go to your home rink and find out if they have adult classes availlabe; if not you can always hire a private coach,

Read the following article on selecting a coach first

Reply:try a comunity center or craigslist
Reply:Check with your local rink, usually they can refer an advanced student who's needing some extra money, or they sometimes offer private lessons too. They're more expensive though.
