Ice skating clothes ideas?

Ok so i'm going ice skating with some friends tomorrow. But here's the problem I don't know what to wear! I have a black beanie black gloves and a black scarf lol too much black! Anyways what should i wear with this stuff and should i go without the scarf? Thanks in advance!

Any excessive attire is a hazard. Unless you tie your scarf in a knot, you can't take the chance of it falling off.


Wear anything, jeans, sweater, light jacket. You want to be able to move around, and be warm enough, too. Gloves is a good idea. The ice feels like a burn when you fall and run your hands on the ice, you do need gloves. A hat too can be a hazard if it comes off. It can trip up someone, unless you can tie it around your neck. Don't dress to be cute, dress to be warm and flexible. Have fun, but be safe!! You can get hurt out there.
Reply:Hm, well when you're ice skating, you want to wear something comfortable to skate in, so I would wear some cute tweed shorts with either leggings or tights. Then wear a cute top or colorful layered sweaters witht he scarf and beanie. Don't wear the gloves unless you have to. They are easy to sakte in, but they look really weird. Reply:yeah, I would get rid of the scarf, it gets annoying... wear a nice blue/green (possibly layered?!?) top with nice skinny jeans and adorable matching leggings :D or tights with black shorts and a yellow or green top
