Is Ice skating a nice hobby to adopt?

I went to Ice skating a few days ago. Although I got quite a number of bruises in the process but I still finds it enjoyable. Is it difficult to learn? as a side question to girls, do you like guys brings you to Ice skating?

It's a great hobby to adopt. Not only is it way fun, but it keeps you in good shape, helps you feel good at something, have a sense of accomplishment, etc.


Yes, it is quite hard to learn, however. If you just want to be able to skate around th rink without falling, you probably would have to go and practice like 5-10 times or so. If you really want to be good, though then you'd have to practice at least once a week and take lessons.





And I totally love it when guys bring me ice skating. I feel kinda bad though, because I'm usually way better than them
Reply:It's my sport and hobby too. Beginner moves are quite easy to master but as you progress it gets harder. But with some patience and determination, you can master the harder stuff too. I don't really get your last question about buys bringing girls to skating.

They are all great activities to join. If you are serious about taking lessons, then go to your rink and find the best suited lesson for you.


There is a difference between "Ice skating" and "Figure skating". In figure skating you will be competing sometimes. Just recreational ice skating is just for fun and excersize.

Reply:Hi. Ice skating is a hobby that teches you both grace, flexibility, and beauty. I have been skating for a year and am now in ISI level Gamma/Delta. It is worth the briuses, and girls love it when guys take them ice skating. it's romantic. But you have to laugh when you fall. It's actuallly funny to think of how pathetic everyone looks when they fall. I hope this helped!
Reply:Ice skating is great fun. Try wearing elbo and knee pads, it really helps when you are starting out. And if you can bring a hockey stick along it helps for balance too. And yes, chicks dig guys who can skate.

I can say there are many girls at the rink looking for boys who play hockey.
