I tried ice-skating for the first time the other day and really enjoyed it, and like the idea of trying the Skate UK course.
Has anyone ever done it before? Is it difficult? I'm an absolute beginner really, and haven't even worked out how to stop (well, apart from slamming into the rail at the side!) and I'm worried I'll look and feel a bit of an idiot. Is it the sort of thing you can do on your own too? I don't want to look like a complete billy no-mates, but nobody I know fancies doing it!
Ice Skating in the Midlands, UK?
God you've skated for ONE day! Your hardly the next on the Olympic team. I would be surprised if you can do more than go in a straight line. YOU NEED A-L-L-O-T more lessons mate. Don't get to full of yourself...
Oh and by the way you will probably read this, turn your nose up and not take my point then go in a mood. Don't bother doing that, because what I have said is true..you need allot more lessons and know what you are doing.
