Ice Skating?

My friend is in student council and she is taking me on a council Ice Skating trip next Friday. It is from 7-9 pm. The guy I like is also going and I dont want to look OR act like a fool. What should I wear (clothes, makeup, hair) BTW I want something I can move in cuz I am skating. I also need tips on how to not, you know, fall........... = ]

Ice Skating?
haha well i love to wear jeans when I ice skate

if it's indoor, then a sweatshirt should be fine

outdoor - not so ok, so wear a cute winter jacket like an outwear jacket like a peacoat

Hair, well it depends on whether u look good with it up or down just make sure it doesn't look like ur ready to go to the prom or something like that haha

Makeup should be sweet and subtle nothing too dark (if u choose to go with the darker tones) that will drown out ur beautiful eyes or complexion!

How not to fall...well just don't get distracted by the guy and WATCH WHERE UR GOING! ice skating is like walking except ur gliding on ice haha so if u walked on the street without paying attention, there's a good chance u'll hit something - imagine the ice

just wondering, have u ever skated b4?

oh and don't try to impress him by trying some dangerous move...ur gonna regret it
Reply:First of all, there are always those people at public skate that try to do spins and stuff because they think they look cool. DON'T EVEN TRY! BTW: figure skaters laugh at those people behind their backs...don't even try and you'll look cool!
Reply:long sleeve shirt

cute baby blue fleece vest

gloves

dark jeans

thin but padded socks(trust me your feet will hurt, I've been skating for almost 8 years competitivly)

cute fleece scarf

long wavy hair in a ponytail, with a cute hat

wear natural but nice make-up, make-up that makes you look nice but not too noticable that makes you look like your trying to hard

=)

have fun skating is a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and superly fun

=)
Reply:i love wearing cute sweat pants and a cute tee with a zip up fleece or jacket.

hair up in a half pony or a messy bun are really cute..i dont like it in my face.

makeup: probably something naturalish...also mascera or eyeliner to make your eyes pop.

tips on how not to fall: try walking at first. Have you ever been rollerblading...its pretty similar, well at first anyways. Stay close to the wall and you should be fine.
Reply:wear yoga-type sweatpants.

A cute long sleeved shirt, and a cute sweater and a sweatshirt. wear layers, so if you get hot you can take off a layer. Wear gloves so if you fall it doesn't hurt and to keep your hands warm.

Wear a hat if you like.

have your hair is a loose ponytail if it works and some light makeup. Lip gloss, eye shadow, mascara ect.

bend your knees, and hold your crushes hand (cus its a good excuse not to fall :)

have fun!
Reply:If you want to be able to move, stay away from jeans. Wear some cute knit pants...leggings, yoga pants and a cute sweater or sweatshirt, and gloves or mittens. You're not as flexible in jeans and if they get wet from falling, they don't dry as quickly. Also, with jeans, if you fall while skating, people may see more cracks than the ones in the ice. I'd keep your hair pulled back in a ponytail or updo while skating.

As for tips for skating, before you get on the ice, make sure the ankles of your skates are tied tightly to give you good ankle support. When you get on the ice, at first, stay close to the sides. Take small marching steps until you get comfortable with it. It usually helps to keep your arms out and your knees bent. Once you're more confident, try pushing like you would in roller blades, rather that pushing with your toes, which may cause you to trip. Most importantly, probably the most attractive thing is seeing someone who is just having fun. Don't worry so much about your skating abilities, worry more about just getting out there and having a good time. :)
Reply:wear a sweatshirt and some strech gloves along with whatever else you want.

tell the guy you want to hold his hand so you dont fall
